US Epic Black Metal. This is a top notch album in every sense. If, on top of that, you consider that it is a debut then... WOW! These guys are well on their way to greatness! For "outcasts" they are doing pretty damn well I would say... :) Very highly recommended!!!

A totally wild thing to be such a huge fan of Ayloss and to still manage to stumble upon entire projects I never knew existed. Here joined by vocalist Antonis, and session drummer Hannes Grossman, you get a brilliant slice of epic melodic/blackened death metal with those classic Ayloss touches. Tough but never dumb. Based on an original high fantasy narrative. Every bit as overachieving as you might expect!

I think the track "Celestial Horizon" is one of my favorites of all-time. I can't even explain it - the pure desolation mixed with an immense reverence for nature combines to create something truly magical. The cello part at the end of "Fog of War" is similarly dark and ethereal. This album is a true gem.
