Shores of Madness

from The Traveler's Path by Trollwar

/

about

Shores of Madness is a song inspired by the short story Dagon. This song is about the mind of the man who got in contact with the fish-god and his way to madness.

lyrics

The shores are twisted,
Corrupted and broken
A distant waste on
The sea of black tar
It leads to a bottomless pit
A wasteland ... for a thousand
Souls to rest

Everything's sinking
I'm tied to the hull
How would I untie these ropes
Dark waves are coming
I can't breath
The storm has taken the world

Fallen to the unknown
Enthralled by sinister lies
Echoes from the void
Grant me the sight

Enslaved by this knowledge
A vision of true might
Bringer of deception
To the eldritch path

Sorrow and emptiness, invades me
As I forsake, eternity
Roaming in despair and madness
as I collapse to the ground

The shores are twisted,
Corrupted and broken
A distant waste on
The sea of black tar
It leads to a bottomless pit
A wasteland ... for a thousand
souls to rest

Everything's sinking
I'm tied to the hull
How would I untie these ropes
Dark waves are coming
I can't breath
The storm has taken the world

Sorrow and emptiness, invades me
As I forsake eternity
Roaming in despair and madness
as I collapse to the ground
